沈田子教授专注于新型纳米材料信息显示技术研究,在新型显示材料开发、低功耗显示器件设计等方面取得了诸多研究成果。以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature Materials、Advanced Materials、Advanced Optical Materials等期刊发表论文40余篇,获授权美国专利3项、韩国专利7项。在国际上首次报道了基于二维纳米液晶材料的低功耗显示器件, 并开发出基于该材料15 cm ×15 cm的显示器件,曾获得2015年国家留学基金委 “国家优秀自费留学生奖学金”。于2020年入职北京航空航天大学,2021年获批“人才”项目。
