Short Biography

Dr. Jia Tian received her PhD degree from Cornell University majoring in remote sensing. She is now focusing on hyperspectral remote sensing and its applications in vegetation, environment, and ecology, including radiative transfer modeling, retrieval and mapping of land cover information, and wildfire monitoring and risk evaluation. Dr. Tian has published more than 50 papers with more than 1000 citations, and has led or participated in multiple projects supported by national natural science foundation of China, National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, etc.
