Short Biography
Xu Dong received the B.S. degree in 1996 and M.E. degree in 1999, both in geophysics from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from South-east University, Nanjing, China, in 2002. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Laboratory for Image and Video Engineering, University of Texas at Austin, Austin, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Instrumentation Science and Optoelectronic Engineering, BeiHang University, Beijing, China. His current research interests include machine vision, artificial intelligence, Navigation and Guidance etc.
