Short Biography

He is currently Associate Professor at Beihang University. He obtained the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geophysics from Ocean University of China (Qingdao, China) in 2000 and 2003, respectively, followed by the Ph.D. degree in Cartography and Geographic Information System from the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing, China) in 2007. He has served as a visiting scholar at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, and Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) in United Kingdom. His research focuses on fundamental theories and applications of environmental remote sensing, with achievements including over 70 academic papers, 4 monographs and 1 textbook, 40+ patents and 10+ software copyrights.
