Short Biography

Li Hui specializes in high-precision micro-optical sensors, including integrated optical gyros, high-precision fiber gyros and optical voltage sensors. Professor Li has led projects funded by defense pre-research, National 973 Program, National 863 Program and the National Natural Science Foundation. Published over 50 SCI papers in journals including Photonics Research, Journal of Lightwave Technology, Optics Express, Optics Letters and so on. Holds over 30 patents, with 8 successfully transferred. She has also explored chip-integrated optical gyros, investigating key theories and innovative technologies such as silicon nitride waveguide resonators, dual-closed-loop control of laser frequency and angular velocity synchronization tracking, noise suppression, and accuracy improvement. Received the First Prize for National Defense Science and Technology Progress in the 2018. Recognized as an Outstanding Young Engineer in Beijing in 2020. Awarded the First Prize in the national finals of the "Source Cup" Disruptive Technology about Innovation and Creative by the Military Science and Technology Commission and the Ministry of Education in the 2023.

    Including: fabrication of photonic integrated chips, noise mechanism and suppression technology, high-precision signal detection technology

  2. High precision fiber optic gyroscope

    Including: high dynamic error mechanism, high dynamic and high-precision signal detection technology

  3. Optical voltage sensor

    Including: analysis of high-precision optical voltage sensing mechanism, miniaturization and integration design of optical voltage sensors
