Short Biography

Zuchen Zhang earned a PhD in optical engineering from Beihang University in 2019, where she pursued exchange studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) from 2016 to 2018. Her research interest focuses on optical sensing and measurement, with a particular emphasis on the development of novel micro-optical gyroscopes and related integrated optoelectronic devices. She has directed more than 10 projects, including funds from the National Key Laboratory and sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program. She has published over 30 refereed journal articles, and holds more than 20 granted patents. Her research achievements have been successfully applied to spacecrafts including the Zhurong Mars rover and the Queqiao relay satellite for Chang'e-4, winning several ministerial-level scientific and technological awards. She is a Young Editorial Board Member of the journal Tactical Missile Technology.
