Focused on fiber optic gyroscopes (FOG), fiber optic sensing, and signal detection technologies for aerospace and related fields, with a primary emphasis on high-precision FOG development. Led more than 20 research and engineering projects. Published over 30 papers and obtained more than 20 authorized patents. Recipient of one National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class) and one National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class).
