Short Biography
Jing Rao, Professor at Beihang University (BUAA), and Humboldt Research Fellowship holder. She got her PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Australia), specializing in ultrasonic non-destructive testing and structural health monitoring. She has led over 30 research projects supported by various funding bodies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany), and the University of New South Wales (Australia). She currently serves as an associate editor for Measurement, Ultrasonic Imaging, and the IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing.
