Jianguo Ma is an associate professor in School of Instrumentation Opto-electronic Engineering in Beihang University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (major) and Electrical Engineering (minor) from Dr. Xiaoning Jiang's Group at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2014. After that, he worked as a research scientist in Dr. Tzung K. Hsiai’s lab in Department of Bioengineering and Department of Medicine in University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2015 to 2016. Since late 2016, he was employed as an associate professor by Beihang University in China. As the principal investigator of three national-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Key Research and Development Program, Jianguo Ma's research interests are developing state-of-the-art ultrasound transducers and intelligent diagnosis with ultrasound signals. He has published more than 50 papers.This includes two cover papers, contributions to three English-language monographs, four granted Chinese invention patents, three granted U.S. invention patents, and one technology transfer.He has been serving as the Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium.
