Short Biography

Li Jianli, as the vice dean of the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering at Beihang University, is a full professor, a doctoral supervisor, and the vice chairperson of the Intelligent Perception and Cognitive Metrology Professional Committee of the China Measurement and Testing Society. Addressing the demand for high-precision motion imaging in airborne remote sensing, high-precision measurement methods and applications for airborne position and orientation systems (POS) are focused, an airborne high-precision laser gyroscope POS and a high-precision distributed POS are developed, which significantly improve the imaging accuracy and efficiency of four major categories of airborne remote sensing payloads, including SAR. Since 2019, we have further expanded the research into quantum precision measurement and sensing technologies, with the specific focus on quantum navigation, geomagnetic navigation, and intelligent navigation.

More than 10 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology, among others, have been presided. The research outcomes have led to six national and provincial/ministerial awards (as the first author of three provincial/ministerial awards), the publication of 3 monographs/edited works, more than 70 SCI-indexed papers, and the grant of over 50 national invention patents.
