Short Biography

Quan Wei, Professor and Ph.D. supervisor in Instrument Science and Technology at Beihang University, National High-Level Talent, member of the National Technical Committee on Quantum Computing and Measurement Standardization, council member of the Chinese Society of Inertial Technology, council member of the Quantum Information Industry Alliance, vice director of the Standards and Evaluation Committee of the Quantum Science and Technology Industry–University–Research Innovation Alliance, deputy secretary-general of the Quantum Sensing and Precision Measurement Instruments Committee of the China Instrument and Control Society, and associate editor-in-chief of the journal Navigation and Control. He has been engaged in research on advanced inertial instruments and navigation technology, optical levitation inertial measurement technology, and optical quantum measurement technology for a long time. He has undertaken several projects, such as the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 program, the National Key Research and Development Program, and the National Pre-research Project. He has won one national science and technology award, two national teaching awards, and many provincial and ministerial-level scientific research and teaching awards. In the past five years, he has published more than 100 SCI-indexed papers, was consecutively listed in the Global top 2 % most-cited scientists (Elsevier) in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The doctoral dissertations of his students have won the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the China Instrument and Control Society and the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from Beijing Municipality.
